After graduating from Ferris State University with a B.S. Degree in Business/Marketing (Professional Golf Management), Pat began his career as an Assistant Golf Professional at LaFortune Park Golf Course in 1989. During the past 19 years, he has served as Assistant Golf Professional, Head Golf Professional, and now resides as Director of Golf for both LaFortune Park Golf Course and South Lakes Golf Course located in Jenks. The awards and accomplishments he has achieved are impressive and include: 2007 South Central Section PGA President's Placque, 2006 South Central Section PGA Merchandiser of the Year-public, 2005 named in the GSO Top 100 golf shops of all time, 2004 - 2006 named to the PGA of America's President Council, 1997-2000 PGA Eastern Chapter Director, awarded Tulsa's Best Golf Shop six times by Urban Tulsa Weekly, 2005 Best Public Golf Course by Oklahoma Magazine, and many others. Pat is very active in the promotion of the game of golf and has dedicated countless hours towards this pursuit. He has served as the Host for the Tulsa Area Special Olympics State Golf Qualifier, established the Byrd/Thoreau Junior Golf Program, and instructed golf programs for numerous other organizations. Pat is proud to serve the patrons of Tulsa County as a community leader and is dedicated to the growth of golf here in Tulsa and the state of Oklahoma.

Chris Jarrett brings over 20 years of experience as a PGA of America Golf Professional to our operations at LaFortune Park Golf Course. Having played at the amatuer, collegiate and professional level, he has the ability to relate to all levels of players. His experience has included working alongside many of the world's Top 100 instructors and in 2007 he was selected as one of the Top 50 Junior Golf Instructors in the United States. During his career, Chris has served as a Golf Professional at several of the nation's premier facilities, including: Doral Resort, Champions C.C., Exmoor C.C., Grapevine G.C., and Gaillardia C.C. Chris is a member of the PGA Presidents Council and has been honored for his extraordinary commitment to impact the Game of Golf. He contributes numerous hours to the game and participates in the PGA of America's yearly 10 minute free lesson program. He has served as the Director for numerous golf schools and clinics, including the Daniel J. Murphy foundation, and Nike Junior Golf Clinics. Brian Montgomery

Brian "Monty" Montgomery has served as as an Assistant Golf Professional at LaFortune Park Golf Course since 1997. His background is highlighted by numerous playing achievements which include: 1983 Oklahoma High School State Champion, 1984 Oklahoma Junior State Champion, 1986 U.S. Junior Champion, 1986 PGA Junior Amatuer Champion, 1986 U.S. Amatuer Semi-finalist, 1986 AJGA 1st Team All American, 1986 Golf Digest Junior Player of The Year, 1987 Member of the OSU Cowboys NCAA National Championship Golf Team, 1987 Masters Tournament, 1987 Walker Cup Team Member, 1988 Oak Tree Inter-Collegiate Champion, 1988 Masters Tournament.

Since his arrival at LaFortune Park, Brian has established a reputation for his excellent teaching skills and abilities as a Certified Club Fitter. He assists his students in understanding the basics first, then focuses on mechanics. His main focus is helping people to improve their games and get more enjoyment for their efforts.

Jeremy Dear

Jeremy Dear has been an Assistant Golf Professional for over two years here at LaFortune Park Golf Course. His playing background includes amatuer and collegiate competition on the NAIA and NCAA Division II Levels. He is a registered Apprentice with the PGA of America and currently pursuing his goal of membership into this exclusive club. Jeremy is extremely active in the promotion of Junior Golf and has coordinated our Junior Programs at LaFortune Park Golf Course. In addition, Jeremy has donated numerous hours to the First Tee Program and the PGA of Americas play golf initiative. He takes pride in helping students achieve their goals and providing them with the skills to accomplish them.

Tomas Hnizdo

Tomas joined Lafortune Park Golf Course in February 2007 and brings a unique international background. He was born in Scotland, the "home of golf." At a young age, his family moved to South Africa, where he developed a passion and talent for the game of golf. After graduating from the University of Johannesburg, he immigrated to the United States in February 2000. Tomas began his Professional PGA career at The Pines Country Club in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was the Assistant Professional for five years and in October 2005 Tomas accomplished his lifelong dream of becoming a PGA member. Tomas has great enthusiasm for the game of golf, especially in teaching and understanding the golf swing. By focusing on simplicity and immediate results, his students enjoy improving and playing the game of golf. Tomas enjoys teaching to all skill levels, especially juniors and beginners.

Brandon Wessel comes to LaFortune Park, from Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City. Graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, he has 14 years of quality amateur playing experience. Most recently, Brandon finished third for the thirty-six hole playing ability test. He is currently a registered Apprentice with the PGA of America and is working toward pursuing his goal of becoming a head golf professional. Brandon enjoys helping golfers of all skill levels learn how to improve their overall game and take strokes off of their scorecard. From beginners to the more accomplished golfers, Brandon prides himself on helping fellow golfers of all ages.
